Jabberwoky

Ruru class have been exploring the famous poem Jabberwoky by Lewis Carroll.  We practiced retelling the poem with clear, fluent voices.  We have abbreviated the poem and changed parts to make it make
more sense to us.  We hope you enjoy it.  We had a lot of fun creating the movie.

On Monday Ruru went a trip. We saw a sparkling clear river that was flowing constantly. Then we went through a lush forest booming with plants.
Suddenly snakes jumped out at us and they were peering in our eyes and hissing at us. We all screamed and ran away.
Next we fell into a canyon, it was so painful because everybody was on each other.
After that we were in a lovely meadow with heaps of flowers, then lions jumped out at us. We screamed "AHHHH". We ran then came across sea monsters, they were as ugly as Jabberwokies. "Yikes" we all yelled. Eventually we came to a shaddowy wass it was dark . In the distance we could see smelly wolf sailors, we were very afraid. We knew if we looked in their eyes we would turn to stone. We ran away as fast as we could. Then we came across a fury fluffy fox. We had to walk through a bushy skinny path.
Suddenly we went in a deep ravine, it was a little bit freaky. After that we saw a beautiful bay unicorn. Then we discovered a magic Ruru. It was amazing.
Finally the furry fluffy fox helped us get back. It was a fantastic trip.
